Website

Students should search for Sparx Test (sparxtest.com) or Sparx Assessments (app.sparxassessments.com), where they will be automatically redirected to the correct site.

Navigating to an assessment

  1. Students select their school.

  2. They enter the 4-digit join code provided by the teacher for the assessment.

  3. After entering a valid code, they will be taken to the log-in screen.

Logging in

Students have several options to log in:

  1. Using their Sparx Account: They can log in with the same credentials used for Maths, Reader, and Science. This could be an email and password combination or via Microsoft/Google Single Sign-On (SSO).

  2. Using their Name and Date of Birth (D.O.B.): If students don't have a Sparx account set up yet, they can log in by entering their name and D.O.B. Their results can be matched to their account once the assessment is completed and the MIS sync has occurred. [There is also an option to log in with Google/Microsoft to auto-fill their name].

After logging in, students will enter a waiting screen until the assessment begins. The teacher will start the assessment from their dashboard, at which point the students will be granted access.

Student joins late

If a student joins late, the teacher has to grant them access via the assessment dashboard.

  1. The teacher clicks on the student in the highlighted orange row

  2. The teacher can approve or reject the join request.
